Draw an amazing poppy flower using simple basic shapes and shading.​

Materials​

• Paper

• Pencil 

• Fine Black Marker/Pen

• Color - Optional  (Paint, Crayons, or Markers)

 

Steps

1. Watch the video. 

2. Observe the images closely.

3. Begin by laying out your poppy flower by starting with the center.

4. Slowly add each petal one at a time.

5. Add your stem and leaves: Note how you want your leaves to overlap on an additional flower bud stem.

6. Finalize and refine your drawing.

7. Outline in fine black marker, pen, or pencil.

8. Add in all the details.

9. Shade.

10. Share your work!
