Aloha

Grade 1 - 6 June 1 - June 5

Description

Aloha! Aloha is a happy and loving greeting and parting phrase in Hawaiian. With aloha, you will create a fun and meaningful tiki face/mask.​

Materials​

  • Paper

  • Pencil 

  • Black Marker/Crayon/Pen

  • Color( Paint, Crayons, or Markers)

 

Steps

  • Watch video

  • Study the tiki face examples.

  • Choose a tiki face you like.

  • Fold your paper in half ( hotdog bun) and open.

  • Design half of your tiki face on one side. Make sure your pencil lines are dark.

  • Fold in half and rub the entire paper for a minute.

  • Open up and trace over the ghost lines that form the the other side of your tiki face.

  • With lots of Aloha, color and share your tiki face!
